Falling behind with the updates again...

A few weeks ago I participated in a fun race with crap cars. The basic idea is to get a car for 5000 SEK or less (~500 Euros) and race it for five hours. We had the lead for the first two hours... then things went downhill and things started to break. We managed to finish 7th out of 15 cars in the end even though we never crossed the finish line.

New Camera

Decided to finally get a proper camera so now I'm the owner of a Pentax K10D.

Took some test photos with my Sigma 18-50mm 2,8f lens yesterday.

Knutstorp track day, 24 hours of karting and Superstage at Emmaboda airfield

Busy weekends filled with motorsports of all kinds :)

Three weekends in a row started out with a track day at Knutstorp organized by the Swedish endurance racing series SLC.

Then it was time for a 24 hour kart race, really cool experience to race karts during the night stint. Took a few days to recover from it all though.

Then it was time for me to try the slalom course at Emmaboda airfield (just 40km from my parents house) The nice thing about this is that it's a permanent course so you can compare times with other drivers who have been there. I managed a 1.33.03 compared to Sebastian's RX-7 time last year which was 1.25.xx, but he's got twice my horsepower :)
